6 Gujaratis dead, 14 injured in Rajasthan after collision between a truck and tempo

A road accident occurred early Sunday morning on the Jodhpur-Balesar National Highway when a tempo carrying devotees from Gujarat to Ramdevra collided with a grain-laden trailer. The crash killed six people and injured 14, several of whom are in critical condition.
Police said the accident took place around 5 am near Khari Beri village. The tempo, carrying about 20 passengers from Banaskantha and Dhanasura districts, hit the trailer violently, resulting in three women dying at the scene.
The injured were taken to Balesar Hospital for initial treatment and later shifted to MDM Hospital, Jodhpur, where three more succumbed to injuries. Three deceased were identified as Navya (3), Bhupat Singh (40), and Kashiya Bai (60).
Hospital authorities confirmed that 14 patients remain under treatment, with some in serious condition. Police continue investigations into the cause of the collision.
