55 mamlatdar transferred, 162 promoted in Gujarat
The state government ordered the transfer of 55 mamlatdars and announced the promotion of 162 deputy mamlatdars to class-II mamlatdars.
After a major reshuffle in the Ahmedabad police, the state is witnessing waves of transfer orders and promotions in the revenue department as well.
In a notification released by the revenue department of Gujarat, late on the night of Oct 26, the state government ordered the transfer of 55 mamlatdars and announced the promotion of 162 deputy mamlatdars to class-II mamlatdars.
Reshuffles among mamlatdars
Ranjitsinh Mori, mamlatdar of Viramgam, Ahmedabad, has been transferred to Bhiloda in Arvalli at the same post.
Mamlatdar of Rajkot (east), RB Gadhvi, has been posted to Vaso in Kheda.
Surat’s Umarpada village’s mamlatdar, KM Rana, will now hold the office as mamlatdar at the collectorate in Anand.
Promotions ahead of diwali
As per the notification, class-III mamlatdars in subordinate revenue services (grade 7 in the pay matrix) are promoted to class-II mamlatdars (grade 8 in the pay matrix).
The deputy mamlatdars in Ahmedabad, Amrutlal Shrimali, got the promotion posting in Rajula, Amreli, and Ramesh Prajapati got the promotion posting in Sihor, Bhavnagar.
Another two deputy mamlatdars of Ahmedabad, Gopal Shah and Bharat Sapara, have been posted in Dhrangadhra, Surendranagar, and Botad, respectively.
