4 killed, 3 injured in fatal accident near Godhra

Four people were killed and three were left injured after a tanker truck collided with a car near Golllav village in Panchmahal’s Godhra today.

As per preliminary information, a tanker truck hit a Maruti Suzuki Eeco car carrying seven people, resulting in four deaths on the spot.

The three survivors were critically injured, and were shifted to a nearby hospital.

Upon being prompted of the incident, EMRI 108 emergency services and police teams rushed to the spot.

The people trapped in the car were rescued by locals.

All seven people in the car are said to be from Chhotaudepur.

The police have registered a case and are investigating further into the accident.
