4 houses collapse in Ahmedabad due to heavy rain, 5 Injured in separate incidents

Ahmedabad has been witnessing relentless downpour for the past two days. In separate incidents, four houses collapsed in Dariyapur, Behrampura, and Shahpur areas, leaving five people injured.

According to reports, one of the major incidents occurred in Dariyapur’s Ali Kumbhar Dela, where three houses were damaged after a wall collapsed, trapping five people under the debris. 

Upon receiving the information, the fire department rushed to the spot and carried out rescue operations. The trapped victims were safely pulled out and shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Apart from this, incidents of house collapse were also reported from Mandvi ni Pol, Gautam Nagar crossroads in Behrampura, and Shahpur area.
