The Gujarat government has taken strict action against 37 candidates who were found guilty of malpractice during the Lok Rakshak Dal (LRD) recruitment exam conducted in 2021. These candidates have been disqualified from government recruitment for the next three years.

The decision came after a thorough investigation into irregularities reported during the exam. Some candidates were caught with mobile phones and other unauthorised materials, while others were found to have tampered with their call letters.

The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board chairman, Hasmukh Patel, announced the decision on social media, stating, “The state government has decided to disqualify 37 candidates for three years for committing malpractices during the recruitment process in the Lokrakshak Recruitment 2021. Details are placed on the website.”
