20-year-old dies after BMW rams into two-wheeler in Rajkot

A 20-year-old youth died after being hit by a BMW car in Rajkot on Sunday night on Kalavad Road near Crystal Mall.

According to preliminary information, the accident occurred near nhjklkn m,Crystal Mall on Kalavad Road. The car, which was being driven at high speed, hit a two-wheeler. The rider, Abhishek, 20, died on the spot. However,  the car driver went directly to the police station. He has been identified as Atman Patel.

As news of the accident spread, crowds of people gathered at the location. Police shifted the body for post-mortem. After the post-mortem, the body will be handed over to the family. Police have registered a case against Patel and further investigation is underway.

Notably, this is the second serious road accident in Rajkot within two days. Earlier, on University Road, a woman driving a car hit a mother and daughter riding an Activa scooter near the HP petrol pump. Due to severe injuries, the 15-year-old daughter Dhruvi, who was battling for life, passed away.
