2.48 lakh candidates to appear for LRD exam, GSRTC announce extra buses

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has made special arrangements for the Lokrakshak (LRD) cadre written exam to be held across the state on June 15.

For exam centres at seven major cities of Gujarat – Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Anand and Bhavnagar – where approximately 2.48 lakh candidates are expected to appear, extra buses will be deployed.

To provide easy travel facilities to the candidates, GSRTC will operate extra buses from various districts to reach the nearest depot of the examination centre on June 14-15.

The transport corporation has also made available the facility of online ticket booking for bus routes. Candidates can book tickets in advance from the website http://gsrtc.in or avail the service through counter booking at their nearest depot.
