Gujarat youth succumbs to death in Canada; friends start charity to bring dead body to India

A 19-year-old youth belonging to Ahmedabad died in an accident on July 21 in Canada. The youngster had gone to Barrie in Ontario, for higher education, where he met with a massive accident. Local police have arrested the car driver in the case. Patel died on the spot in a car accident while crossing the road.

Friends crowdfunded to bring back Varsil's body

Ahmedabad youngster Varsil Patel succumbed to his injuries. The costs of bringing his body back to India would scale up to nearly 30,000 Canadian dollars. His friends started a crowdfunding to bring his body back to India. The latest collection numbers show that the required amount has been achieved through crowdfunding. Patel's friends had circulated information about the accident and the requirement for the amount on social media and requested people donate to this cause.
