10 injured as Bullet train worker’s bus crashes into container on NH-48

A major road accident was reported on National Highway 48 (NH-48) near Navsari on Saturday morning when a bus carrying workers of Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train collided with a container vehicle. The crash left 10 workers injured and led to heavy traffic congestion on the highway. 

How did the accident happen?

According to information, the bus was taking bullet train workers to the site when the accident took place between the bus and a container. The impact of the collision was intense, resulting in significant damage to the bus.

Several workers sustained injuries. As soon as the incident was reported, the local police and the 108 ambulance team immediately rushed to the location. The injured were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, no deaths have been reported in the accident yet.

The accident caused long queues of vehicles on NH 48 and caused a heavy traffic jam. Police reached the spot and diverted the traffic and cleared the traffic. 

Police have initiated a probe into the matter.
