Gujarat Has 785 Ayush Healthcare Facilities

Across all 33 districts, Gujarat has 365 Ayushman Arogya Mandir centres, 372 Ayush dispensaries, 39 Ayush hospitals and two integrated Ayush hospitals.

Training And Research Initiatives

Gujarat conducted 20 capacity-building training programmes involving 770 participants during 2025-26.

On the research front, the Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) is leading a study examining the role of Ayurveda in managing anaemia and sickle cell disease.

The state also organises Ayush health camps and conducts Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaigns through print and digital platforms to increase public awareness about Ayush healthcare systems.
