Devotee Rush: Western Railway Launches Special Unreserved Trains Between Gandhinagar and Dwarka for Janmashtami

Western Railway will run a special unreserved train service between Gandhinagar Capital and Dwarka to accommodate the massive surge of devotees travelling to the coastal temple town for the upcoming Janmashtami festival.

Train number 09521/09522 Gandhinagar Capital–Dwarka Unreserved Special will complete six trips in total across both directions on 3, 4, and 5 September. All coaches on this service belong to the general unreserved category, allowing pilgrims from the Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar regions to travel without prior seat reservations.

Schedules and Timing Details

Under the announced schedule, Train number 09521 leaves Gandhinagar Capital at 20:00 hours and arrives in Dwarka at 05:50 hours the following morning. This overnight timetable provides a direct option for passengers planning early morning festive rituals at the temple.

On the return leg, Train number 09522 departs Dwarka at 06:50 hours and reaches Gandhinagar Capital at 17:00 hours on the same day.
