Writer Salim Khan admitted to hospital, Salman Khan spotted visiting him

Veteran film writer Salim Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, as per reports.The exact reason for his hospitalisation is not known yet, and no official statement has been shared by the family.

His son, Bollywood actor Salman Khan, was reportedly seen visiting the hospital earlier today. He was photographed leaving the hospital wearing a black t-shirt and cap, surrounded by security staff, he did not speak to the media. 

Salim Khan is 90 years old and is one of the most famous writers in Hindi cinema. Fans and people from the film industry  have shared messages on social media, wishing him a quick recovery.

Salim Khan became famous as part of the writer duo with Javed Akhtar. Together, they wrote many hit films in the 1970s. Their most popular movie is Sholay, which is considered one of the greatest  Indian films. They also wrote blockbusters films like Deewaraar, Zanjeet, and Don.

In November 2025, Salim Khan celebrated his 90th birthday. His wife Helen shared a heartfelt message online, thanking him for his love and support over the years.
