Warmer Together: Legendary actors Al Pacino, Robert De Niro celebrate 50 years of friendship

Legendary Hollywood stars Al Pacino and Robert De Niro broke the internet as they came together to celebrate over five decades of their friendship for Italian fashion brand Moncler’s new campaign.

The campaign, ‘Warmer Together’, celebrated the “love, respect, and authentic human connection” at the heart of the company, as legendary friends Al Pacino and Robert De Niro came together.​ 

In their social media post, the two friends were seen wearing the brand’s jacket, posing for the camera as they shared a chuckle together.

On the work front, Pacino has joined the cast of Bobby Moresco’s directorial ‘Maserati: The Brothers’, a biopic about the family behind the high-performance automobiles that, along with Ferrari and Lamborghini, Italy is popularly known for.

Pacino’s cameo in the film was announced by producer Andrea Iervolino, reports variety.com.

In ‘Maserati’ Pacino will be playing businessman Vincenzo Vaccaro, who supported the Maserati family and invested in the early days of the company. Also joining the star-studded film’s cast are Gina La Piana and Tatiana Luter, according to an Iervolino statement.

De Niro, on the other hand, has been signed for ‘The Whisper Man’, an adaptation of Alex North’s crime thriller novel. 

James Ashcroft is set to direct the film with Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer adapting the screenplay, reports ‘Female First UK’.

‘The Whisper Man’ tells the story of a widowed crime writer who, when his eight-year-old son is abducted, looks to his estranged father – a retired former police detective – for assistance. However, they discover a connection with the decades-old case of a convicted serial killer known as ‘The Whisper Man’.
