Vishal Dadlani calls quits on Indian Idol after six seasons as judge

Singer-composer Vishal Dadlani bode an emotional farewell to judging duties on the popular singing reality show Indian Idol.
In a heartfelt caption, Dadlani wrote, “Alvida, yaaro. 6 seasons mein jitna mazaa kiya, uss se bhi zyada yaad aayegi. Haqq se zyada pyaar milaa hai, iss show ki vajah se. Eternally grateful to everyone involved. I hope the show will miss me as much as I’ll miss it.”
“I’m literally only leaving because I want my time back. Can’t stay stuck in Mumbai for 6 months each year!” he added.
He also thanked his fellow judges Badshah and Shreya Ghoshal, along with the crew of the show, and the musicians and technicians involved, ending his caption by saying that it was time to make some music.
The star-studded grand finale of the fifteenth edition of Indian Idol was aired on April 5 and 6, where Manasi Ghosh was declared the winner.
Aside from the judges Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah, Mika Singh, Shilpa Shetty, and Raveena Tandon graced the evening as the special guests.
The six finalists of the show were – Chaitanya Devadhe (Mauli), Subhajit Chakraborty, Manasi Ghosh, Sneha Shankar, Priyangshu Dutta, and Anirudh Suswaram.
The grand finale of 'Indian Idol season 15' has been postponed by a week. Host, Aditya Narayan, made an official announcement about the new finale dates on social media.
In addition to this, Badshah also shared the news of the delay in the grand finale, saying, “Abhi toh party shuru hui hai.”
