‘VIROSH’ wedding: Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda begin new chapter, pens heartfelt note

Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have officially tied the knot in an intimate traditional ceremony, sharing heartfelt notes for each other on social media after their wedding.
Rashmika took to Instagram to introduce Vijay as her “now husband,” dropping the first set of pictures from what she described as a fairytale wedding. In an emotional note, the ‘Animal’ actress expressed gratitude for the role Vijay has played in her life.
“Hi my loves, Introducing to you now ‘My Husband’! Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!!” she wrote, calling him the man who taught her what true love and inner peace feel like. She credited him for constantly encouraging her to dream big and reassuring her of her potential. “I’ve become the woman I have always dreamt of being, because you made her who she is today! I’ve truly been blessed,” she added, joking that she could write an entire book about him.
Expressing excitement about the new chapter, she concluded, “I am so so so so soooo excited to becoming your wife! To be your wife! To be called your wife!! It’s full party time now!! Let’s have the bestestest life ever together! I love you!”
Vijay also shared his first post after the wedding, posting pictures and videos from the celebrations. In a deeply personal note, he described Rashmika as his “home and calm.”
“One day, I missed her… Like my day would’ve been better if she were around. Like my meals would’ve felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me… Like I needed her, just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was. So, I made my best friend, my wife,” he wrote.
The couple, fondly referred to as “VIROSH” by fans — a name derived from combining their names — reportedly opted for a close-knit ceremony attended by family members and friends from the film fraternity. They have previously shared screen space in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
Following the ceremony, sweets were distributed to media personnel stationed outside the venue, as the newlyweds embarked on their new journey together.
