‘The Odyssey’ director Christopher Nolan, lead cast set to visit India for premiere

The much-awaited Hollywood film ‘The Odyssey’ director Christopher Nolan and lead cast members Matt Damon and Tom Holland are set to visit India for the movie’s premiere in Mumbai which has been selected as an official stop alongside major cities including London, Paris and New York.
Nolan will be accompanied by his producer wife Emma Thomas and lead actors Matt Damon and Tom Holland, who portray the characters of Odysseus and his son Telemachus in the film.
The India premiere of ‘The Odyssey’ will be reportedly held at PVR Icon IMAX, Phoenix Palladium, Mumbai.
The film has been shot across various locations using next-generation IMAX film technology and is being described as the first feature film to be shot entirely with IMAX cameras.
Apart from Damon and Holland, the film also stars Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Samantha Morton, Zendaya and Charlize Theron.
The movie is produced by Nolan and his production company Syncopy. The film brings Homer's ancient tale of Odysseus’decade-long journey back home after the fall of Troy to audiences on IMAX screens worldwide.
The film is scheduled to release worldwide on July 17.
