‘Splitsvilla 7’ fame Mayank Pawar dies at 37, reason unknown

Former bodybuilder and reality show contestant Mayank Pawar, from Splitsvilla Season 7, has died at the age of 37. The news was announced on his official Instagram account on Monday, leaving fans and followers in shock.

According to the post, Pawar passed away on February 23, 2026. The cause of death was not disclosed.

His family has announced that a prayer meeting will be held on February 25, 2026.

The Instagram post read, “A brother, a champion, a mentor, and an inspiration to many. Mayank Pawar will forever live in our hearts. Please join us in prayer and remembrance. Om Shanti.”

Pawar had recently celebrated his 37th birthday on January 1.

He gained popularity for his composed demeanour and competitive spirit during his stint on ‘Splitsvilla 7’. Fellow contestants often praised his calm personality and dedication to tasks. 

His elimination episode became one of the most discussed moments of the season, with host Sunny Leone visibly emotional as she hugged him upon his exit from the villa. Co-host Nikhil Chinapa also embraced him during the farewell.
