Sophie Shine as desi bride and Shikhar Dhawan go glam at pre-wedding celebrations

Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is set to begin a new phase of his life as he prepares to marry his long-time girlfriend Sophie Shine. The 40-year-old is expected to tie the knot soon, and pictures from their pre-wedding ceremonies are going viral on social media.

She was seen wearing a yellow lehenga with a bright dupatta and traditional jewellery. Dhawan appeared in a white kurta-pyjama with a yellow Nehru jacket. Guests were seen celebrating and showering the couple with flowers.

Sophie Shine is originally from Ireland and works as a senior professional consultant. She studied marketing and management at Limerick Institute of Technology after completing her schooling at Castleroy College. She currently holds a senior position at Northern Trust Corporation in Abu Dhabi. Despite her professional success, she usually keeps a low profile.

This will be Dhawan’s second marriage. He was earlier married to Ayesha Mukherjee in 2012, and the couple has a son named Zoravar. They later separated after several years of marriage
