Actor Sonali Bendre’ husband Goldie Behl has been reportedly accused of fraud and regulatory violations in connection with a land dispute in Maharashtra’s Pune district.

According to reports, a complaint was filed by Chandrakant Balu Shinde and his 75-year-old mother Kamalbai alleging that Behl attempted to take control of around 30 gunthas (over 32,000 sq ft) of land in Uksan village, located in Maval taluka. The case was submitted through their lawyer before a civil court in Vadgaon Maval last month, with the next hearing scheduled for April 24.

According to the petition, the Shinde family has been cultivating the land as protected tenants since the 1940s. They claim their names were removed from official land records in the 1980s without any prior notice.

The dispute traces back to 2012, when the original landowners reportedly sold the property to a local buyer. A portion of this land was later sold to Goldie Behl in March 2021. The complainants argue that these transactions are invalid, as their tenancy rights were never legally terminated.

The family has also reportedly alleged misuse of influence, claiming that the couple attempted to assert possession of the land with support from local authorities.

In the complaint, it is stated that on December 14, 2025, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl arrived at the site along with workers and machinery to begin construction activities. When Kamalbai objected, she was allegedly threatened. The complaint further alleges that police present at the location warned the family of legal consequences if they continued to oppose the work.

The matter is currently under judicial consideration.
