Shubman Gill breaks silence on dating rumours with ‘Sara’, says he’s been single for 3 years

Indian opening batter Shubman Gill, who is currently leading Gujarat Titans in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), has finally spoken up about his dating life, refuting rumours of him dating actor Sara Ali Khan or Sara Tendulkar, daughter of legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar.

Speaking to Hollywood Reporter, Gill reportedly said that he has been single for over three years now, and that he has been linked with people he has not seen or met ‘ever’ in his life.

The cricketer further said that he is focused on his career and there is “no space” in his life “to be with someone”.

Pointing out a busy cricketing calendar, Gill reportedly said that as he travels around 300 days a year, there is hardly any time to invest in a relationship.

For quite a while now, internet fans have been speculating about Gill dating a ‘Sara’, swinging between the actor and the daughter of a legendary cricketer.

Even during the World Cup 2023 matches, Shubman was teased by the spectators in India with Sara’s name. In one such incident, ace batter Virat Kohli had asked them to call the cricketer by his name pointing to his name written at the back of his jersey.

On the other hand, actor Sara Ali Khan had clarified that she is not dating Indian cricketer Shubman Gill back in November 2023. Sara issued the clarification during a talk show with Karan Johar.

“You have got the wrong Sara, guys. Sara ka saara duniya galat Sara ke peecche pada hai,” she had said.
