In a major development in Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's stabbing case, Bandra Police is questioning an individual in connection with the attack. The person has been taken in for interrogation, and the investigation is underway to collect more details regarding the incident.

The Mumbai Police have formed 35 teams to track the attacker who intruded into the actor's residence and attacked him in the wee hours of Thursday.

On the other hand, a shocking security breach at Khan’s Bandra quadruplex has sparked concerns about inadequate safety measures in upscale neighbourhoods. 

The intruder, carrying a hacksaw blade, managed to access the high-profile residence without leaving any visible signs of forced entry.

According to DCP (Zone IX) Dikshit Gedam, CCTV footage shows the suspect exiting the building via the fire exit staircase, even pausing to look at the camera on his way out.

Police seized small piece of blade

A sharp-edged part of the Hexa Blade, which had entered Saif Ali Khan's body, was removed by the hospital during surgery yesterday. The police have seized the small piece of the Hexa Blade.

Sword seized

Mumbai Police seized an old sword from actor Saif Ali Khan's residence, suspected to be ancestral and possibly belonging to his family. However, the police have not yet confirmed any specific details about the sword's origins.

As per reports, the suspect who attacked Saif was spotted near Bandra Railway Station.

"We are conducting searches in Palghar district's Vasai Nalasopara and surrounding areas," said Mumbai Police.

Kareena's statement

On Thursday night, Kareena Kapoor Khan released a statement on her social media about her "challenging day".

She wrote, "It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage. While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family."

She further mentioned, "I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this sensitive time."

Attempted burglary

At the time of incident, Kareena was present at home along with their children Taimur and Jeh. Saif was woken up by the commotion in his son Jeh’s room.

He went inside the room to see the culprit arguing with their house help, looking at this, Saif intervened to save the house help with bare hands to fight off the culprit.

The actor’s manager issued a statement about his condition, as the manager said, “There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation."
