Reports claim Dharmendra has passed away, Esha Deol says veteran actor is stable and recovering

Social media was flooded with rumours claiming that Bollywood’s legendary ‘He-Man’ Dharmendra has passed away. However, the family has strongly denied the speculation, confirming that the 89-year-old actor who is currently admitted at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital is stable and recovering.
Daughter Esha Deol issued a firm note on Instagram on Tuesday morning saying, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable & recovering.
We request everyone to give our family privacy.
Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery.”
Late on Monday night, Dharmendra’s elder son Sunny Deol had also posted that his father is stable. Sunny Deol’s team later issued a detailed statement appealing to the public not to indulge in spreading unverified claims.
The statement read, “Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don’t indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”
On Monday evening, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol visited their father at the hospital. Later in the night, superstar Salman Khan also reached Breach Candy Hospital accompanied by heavy security. Shah Rukh Khan too visited the veteran actor, along with his son Aryan Khan.
Dharmendra, 89, is reportedly being treated for breathing-related complications and was said to have been briefly put on ventilator support.
The family has urged fans and the media to refrain from circulating unverified reports and to allow the senior actor space and privacy as he continues to recover.
