After years of speculation about their relationship, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are engaged, according to reports. While rumours about the couple’s engagement were circulated on social media on Friday, Vijay’s team confirmed the news on a news channel on Saturday morning.

The actor’s team is yet to reveal the details of the ceremony. However, his team confirmed that the couple is set to tie the knot in February 2026. Neither Rashmika nor Vijay has shared any posts or made a public announcement about their engagement.

In Vijay’s latest Instagram post, dated September 28, captioned, “A few weeks ago in New York,” netizens went haywire and flooded the comment sections with congratulatory messages hinting at his engagement.

The photos show the film star in traditional Indian attire, and he did not make any announcement regarding an engagement.

A fan commented, “It seems that she is engaged,” while another one assumed, “He got engaged with Rashmika, it seems. Congratulations.”

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have been the subject of dating rumours ever since they first starred together in the 2018 hit ‘Geetha Govindam’ and the 2019 film ‘Dear Comrade’.

Recently, the lovebirds once again made headlines as they were captured by the shutterbugs on a lunch date in Mumbai following the grand release of Rashmika’s ‘Sikandar’.

The ‘Animal’ actress looked breezy in a simple T, baggy denim, and a sports cap. Accompanying her, VD was seen in a white floral shirt with off-white trousers and a brown beanie.

While Rashmika greeted the paps and even posed with her fans, Vijay entered the restaurant from the back. The video of their lunch date is doing the rounds on social media.

These two are often spotted together at events and are even seen taking vacations together. Despite giving all the hints, Rashmika and Vijay have never confirmed their relationship.
