Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has reportedly declined the reports claiming that his son Hrithik Roshan demanded ₹500 crore budget for ‘Krrish 4’. He also denied the speculation of disagreement with producer Adtiya Chopra over the film’s cost.

Reacting to the reports, Rakesh Roshan reportedly dismissed the "nonsense" claims that Hrithik Roshan had demanded a ₹500 crore budget for top-tier visual effects and world-class action sequences for his directorial debut, while YRF wanted to cap the budget at ₹350 crore. He said that making a quality film for a wide audience takes time and careful planning, as per reports.

Rakesh also denied rumours of any disagreement between YRF Chairman Aditya Chopra and Hrithik Roshan, stating that there were no issues surrounding the project and that development was progressing smoothly, the reports cited.

Addressing the delay in the film's production, he reportedly said Hrithik is currently occupied with commitments related to the production house he launched earlier this year.

Reports had earlier claimed that YRF Chairman Aditya Chopra wanted to keep the film's budget at around ₹350 crore to ensure its commercial viability. However, it was alleged that Hrithik Roshan was seeking a budget of nearly ₹500 crore with the aim of delivering a film on the scale of a Hollywood production.
