Priyanka Chopra Jonas honoured with Global Vanguard award at Gold Gala 2026

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas attended the Gold House Gold Gala 2026 in Los Angeles, where she was honoured with the prestigious Global Vanguard Honour for her contribution to shaping cross-cultural narratives and global representation, as per reports.

The event, held at The Music Centre under the theme ‘A New Gold World’, celebrated cultural influence, leadership and shared progress.

Priyanka, who has spent more than two decades building an international career, became the first South Asian actor to headline an American network drama with the television series ‘Quantico’. She has also featured in global productions, including ‘Citadel’.

For the occasion, the actor wore a custom couture gown designed by Amit Aggarwal in collaboration with stylist Ami Patel.

The outfit was created using a two-decade-old chikankari sari, which was transformed into a contemporary couture silhouette. According to the designers, women artisans spent six weeks hand-embroidering the textile before it was reimagined through Amit Aggarwal’s sculptural design techniques, glass bead detailing and layered architectural elements.

Priyanka completed the look with jewellery by Bvlgari.

The couture ensemble highlighted Indian craftsmanship and textile heritage, themes Priyanka has frequently promoted on international platforms.

Other honourees at the gala included actors Charles Melton, Jet Li, Simu Liu and musician EJAE.
