Orry calls Ibrahim Ali Khan the ‘most besharam’, opens up on the fallout with Sara Ali Khan

Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as orry, has sparked controversy after calling actor Ibrahim Ali Khan “the most besharam” in the industry during a recent podcast with Elvish Yadav. The remark has reignited public discussion around Orry’s strained relationship with actor Sara Ali Khan and her family.
During the podcast, Elvish Yadav asked Orry, “Industry main besharam kaun hai?” (Who is the most shameless in the industry?) Orry responded without hesitation, naming Ibrahim Ali Khan. When pressed for clarification, he said, “Call him to your podcast,” a comment that quickly drew attention on social media.
In the same conversation, Orry addressed perceptions surrounding his friendships in Bollywood, rejecting the idea that his connections came easily. “It’s not like there’s a Bollywood group chat and one day they added me,” he said.
He went on to recall how his friendship with Sara Ali Khan began, explaining that people frequently asked him questions about her on the now-defunct platform AskFM. He later messaged Sara on Facebook to inform her about it, and the two eventually met in New York through mutual friends, gradually becoming close.
However, according to reports, Orry unfollowed Sara Ali Khan a while ago, and in recent years, he has not followed Ibrahim. He also said that having a friendship with Sara is pretending to be okay with her mother, given trauma to him.
Orry further stated that an apology from Amrita Singh could help resolve the rift. “If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future,” he said.
Addressing jokes he has made about Sara Ali Khan’s acting career, Orry defended himself, saying he did not believe his comments were offensive. “I just made a small joke, taking a dig at her career. The whole internet makes fun of Sara’s movies all the time… it’s not that deep,” he said, adding that he himself is often mocked online.
The situation escalated after Sara and Ibrahim reportedly unfollowed Orry on Instagram. Responding to a user’s query, Orry commented, “Long ago, bro. They just caught up,” suggesting that the rift had existed for some time.
Further controversy arose when Orry replied to an Instagram comment stating, “Amrita aunty is very angry,” with the remark, “Put a glass of ice water on her head,” which many viewed as dismissive.
Adding to the backlash, Orry was criticised for a reel referencing “3 worst names,” widely interpreted as targeting Sara Ali Khan, Amrita Singh, and actor Palak Tiwari. The video was later deleted following online criticism.
The ongoing exchanges have fuelled speculation about fractured friendships within Bollywood’s social circles, with Orry’s remarks continuing to draw mixed reactions online.
