Now, Divya Khosla Kumar accuses Alia of rigging the Box office

Alia Bhatt is all over the news following the the release of her film ‘Jigrra’ on Friday. For the first time in a decade of Alia’s career, her film has opened to a lukewarm response. After Kangana Ranaut’s cryptic post discussing the downfall of women-centric films, possibly targeting Alia’s film not doing too well in opening weekend, now Divya Khosla Kumar has accused Alia of rigging the box office. The Bollywood actress and film producer had gone for the movie show in theatres today at Citi Mall PVR in Mumbai.

At the theatre, Divya Khosla shared a story with an empty theatre picture on Instagram story on her profile alleging Alia Bhatt of rigging the box office. 

Mentioning the movie Jigrra she wrote on her instagram story “All theatres are going empty everywhere “, “#Aliabhatt me sach mein bahut #Jigra hai”, (Alia bhatt has really a lot of guts).

“Khud hi tickets sell kar diye or fake collection announce kar diye” Khosla alleged in the post saying that Alia Bhatt had shown a fake box office collection and she had bought  the tickets herself to show a huge box office collection to make the movie a hit.

Khosla’s instagram story further said that she wonders why the paid media is silent, pointing fingers at the media industry and mentioned that we as a film industry should not fool the audience with the hashtags #weshouldotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDusshera.
