Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban separate after nearly 20 years of marriage

Actor Nicole Kidman and musician Keith Urban have reportedly separated after almost two decades together. The couple, who married in 2006 and share two daughters, are said to have been living apart since early summer, according to reports.

Sources cited by TMZ claim that Urban initiated the split, while Kidman is focused on caring for their children and is not in favour of the separation. A source quoted by the BBC also confirmed the separation but did not reveal any specific reason for the breakup.

Kidman was previously married to actor Tom Cruise for over ten years. That marriage ended in 2001, and the former couple share two adopted children.

Despite the personal setback, Kidman has a busy slate ahead, including ‘Practical Magic 2’ (2026 release), Prime Video’s ‘Girls and Their Horses’, Apple TV+ drama ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’, HBO’s ‘The Perfect Nanny’, and the crime series ‘Scarpetta’.
