Mexico’s Fátima Bosch clinches Miss Universe 2025 Crown

25-year-old Fátima Bosch was announced the winner of the Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Thursday, at the finals held in Thailand.

“Congratulations to our new Miss Universe. Tonight, a star was born. Her grace, strength, and radiant spirit captured the hearts of the world, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her as our new queen. The universe shines a little brighter with her leading the way. ✨🌍👑” said the official handle of Miss Universe on Instagram, announcing the winner.

The first runner up was Thailand's Praveeenar Singh, followed by Stephany Abasali from Venezuela, and Ma Ahitsa Manalo from Philippines.

In Bosch’s introduction, the pageant page wrote, “Fátima Bosch –
A symbol of resilience and compassion, Fátima transforms her journey with dyslexia and ADHD into a mission of empowerment and service. A designer and longtime volunteer, she uplifts children, migrants, and vulnerable communities, proudly carrying Tabasco’s heart to the Miss Universe stage.”

From India, Rajasthan’s Manika Vishwakarma had presented the country, beating 48 contestants in August to represent India at Miss Universe.

Crowned Miss Universe India 2025 at a glittering finale in Jaipur, Manika was raised in a modest family in Sri Ganganagar. 

A graduate in Political Science and Economics from Delhi University, she has been an NCC cadet, classical dancer, and an artist recognised by the Lalit Kala Academy and the JJ School of Arts. 

She also founded Neuronova, a platform that advocates for neurodivergent individuals, spreading awareness about conditions like ADHD and autism.
