Meta AI introduces Deepika Padukone as its new voice

Meta AI has introduced Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone as the new voice of its virtual assistant. Users will now be able to hear Deepika’s voice on their phones and laptops, as Meta AI responds in her voice across supported platforms.
The actor announced the collaboration on Instagram, writing, “Okay, so this is pretty cool I think! I’m now part of Meta AI, and you can chat with my voice in English across India, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.”
Deepika becomes the first Indian personality to lend her voice to Meta AI, which is integrated into Meta’s ecosystem, including Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.
The announcement follows another milestone for the actor. She was recently appointed as India’s first-ever Mental Health Ambassador by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, coinciding with World Mental Health Day.
This collaboration marks a significant moment, blending technology, celebrity, and mental health advocacy under one global platform.
