Major fractures, severe pain, in ICU: Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan’s team posts update

The team of singer Pawandeep Rajan, winner of singing reality show Indian Idol 12, who was involved in an accident on Monday, has posted an update on the singer’s latest condition.

The team, addressing the accident that took place near Moradabad when Rajan was on his way to Delhi airport to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for an event, said, “Initially, he was operated at a nearby available facility but later he was shifted to a better hospital in Delhi NCR.”

“He has suffered multiple major fractures and few small injuries. Yesterday was a very difficult and hard day for the family and all his well-wishers. Whole day he was struggling with severe pain and unconsciousness,” the statement added.

The statement, posted on his Instagram account’s story feed, noted that “after a whole lot of diagnosis and examinations, he was taken into the operation theatre around 7 pm and after 6 hours some of his major fractures had been operated successfully and he is currently in Medical ICU under observation.” 

“Post 3-4 days rest he will again be operated for the rest of the fractures and injuries,” it added. 

The statement ended with thanking the fans, stating, “Thank you everyone from the bottom of our heart for keeping Pawan in your prayers.”
