Days after controversy erupted over her Toronto show, Madhuri Dixit has posted again on Instagram and the backlash has only intensified.

The actor shared a poster announcing a series of ‘Meet and Greet’ events across various US cities starting this week on Wednesday. In her caption she wrote: “Thank you Toronto for a lovely Meet and Greet.”

This line triggered a new wave of criticism with fans calling out what they say is a clear shift in how the tour is being marketed.

During the November 2 Toronto stop, attendees complained that the show which they say was advertised as a live dance and concert experience turned out instead to be mostly a talk-show style interview, with Madhuri arriving nearly three hours late, performing only a few hook steps and quick song snippets.

Now, fans argue that the ‘Meet and Greet’ branding being used in her latest poster is an attempt to reframe the tour, after people already paid expecting a dance performance.

Comments flooded the post, “Toronto was never sold as meet and greet. It was marketed as an evening of songs and dance.”

One user wrote “Why call it meet and greet now? People bought tickets for a full performance.”

Others said that “Be prepared Toronto was just Q&A. No dance, only small hook steps.”

Many are accusing the organisers of misleading marketing and are warning US fans to manage expectations or demand more clarity before attending.
