Madhuri Dixit faces backlash in Canada after fans claim she arrived 3 hours late for Toronto show

Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit is currently touring Canada and US, but her Toronto event on November 2 has sparked a wave of disappointment and criticism online.

According to attendees, the show was scheduled for 7.30 pm,  however, Madhuri reportedly took the stage only around 10.30 pm. Many fans claimed they waited for hours with no explanation.

Several users took to Instagram calling the show poorly organised, late, and misleading, accusing organisers of not being transparent about the format — which turned out to be more of a sit-down chat with small dance snippets, instead of a full performance.

One user wrote that two chairs were placed on stage for a talk show titled ‘Dil Se Madhuri’, adding, “nowhere in promotions was it mentioned this would be a sit down interview”.

Another fan said, “On my ticket, it said the start time was 7.30 pm. It did not state any pre-shows. I left at 11.05 pm because I had work the next day. This was disrespectful to the audience’s time.”

Others described it as the worst show ever and slammed organisers for poor management and lack of clarity.

However, not all reactions were negative.

Some fans defended Madhuri, insisting she gave her best saying management should be held responsible for the delay, not the actress.

“To be in her presence is something else,” a user wrote. “True fans will appreciate any glimpse of her.”
