IPL Glamour Meets Rockstar Beats: Kaviya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander Set to Wed in November

The worlds of corporate sports administration and Indian cinema are set for a high-profile merger as Sunrisers Hyderabad owner Kaviya Maran and rockstar music composer Anirudh Ravichander prepare to tie the knot this November.
The match brings together two of the most recognizable figures in Southern pop culture: the Sun TV heiress whose expressive reactions in IPL dugouts regularly go viral, and the hitmaker behind pan-India soundtracks like Jawan, Leo, Jailer, and Coolie.

Corporate Powerhouse Meets Cinema's Highest-Paid Hitmaker

Kaviya Maran, Executive Director at Sun TV Network and CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), has built a distinct public identity alongside her corporate role. As the daughter of media mogul Kalanithi Maran, her net worth is estimated between ₹400 crore and ₹500 crore.

Her passionate presence at IPL auctions and stadium stands has turned her into an internet phenomenon and the face of the SRH franchise.

Anirudh Ravichander first rose to fame in 2011 with the viral sensation "Why This Kolaveri Di!" as a college student. Today, with an estimated net worth between ₹80 crore and ₹100 crore, he ranks among India's highest-paid music directors. Delivering continuous chart-toppers like "Vaathi Coming", "Kaavaalaa", and "Hukum", he has composed music for superstar vehicles starring Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, and Vijay.

Quiet Dating Era to Official State Confirmation

Speculation regarding the couple dating first emerged on social media platforms in mid-2025, with reports indicating they had been quietly seeing each other for over a year. While Anirudh initially brushed off the reports online, industry insiders and family members later hinted at the developing relationship. In June, Anirudh's uncle, veteran actor Y. Gee. Mahendra, publicly praised Kaviya’s business acumen and confirmed that the wedding was on the cards.

The relationship received official confirmation when Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy shared details of a visit by Kaviya's parents to his Jubilee Hills residence on his official X account.
"Sun Group Chairman Shri Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Smt. Kavery Maran, met Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills and invited him to the wedding reception of their daughter, Kaviya Maran," the official post stated.

Destination Ceremony in Greece and Grand Chennai Reception

According to industry reports, the couple will tie the knot in an intimate destination ceremony in Greece on November 11. Following the international wedding, the families will host a star-studded reception in Chennai on November 21.

The Chennai reception is set to gather top politicians, business leaders, IPL cricket stars, and prominent personalities from across the Indian film industry.
