Karan Johar denies using Ozempic, says he lost weight ‘the right way’

Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar, has been in the spotlight for his noticeable transformation due to significant weight loss.

His appearance at his own jewellery fashion show drew attention, with many praising his new look on the ramp. Following this, rumours began circulating that Johar had used Ozempic to aid in his weight loss journey.

Addressing the speculation during a recent ‘Ask KJO’ session on Instagram, where fans asked him about the secret to his transformation and whether he had used Ozempic, Johar simply responded that he lost the weight “the right way.”

While he didn’t directly deny using the drug, but he made it clear that his weight loss was achieved through healthy methods.

Johar was last in news when he stepped out for a dinner with Gauri Khan. His sartorial choice grabbed the eyeballs as he wore a T-shirt which read, “Nepo Baby”.

Gauri and KJo were also joined by Malaika Arora. A video shared by a paparazzi account showed them exiting an upmarket restaurant in the city as they got clicked during the night.

What is Ozempic?

Ozempic is a medication primarily prescribed to treat type 2 diabetes, but it has also been found to aid in weight loss. It works by mimicking a hormone called GLP-1, which stimulates insulin production, slows digestion, and reduces appetite.
