Kangana’s mangalsutra look sparks rumours, actor clarifies

Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut recently grabbed everyone’s attention after she was seen wearing a mangalsutra in public. As videos of her appearance went viral on social media, many fans started wondering if she had secretly gotten married.

In the videos, Kangana was seen in a simple salwar suit with a bindi, green bangles, sunglasses, and a mangalsutra. She kept a serious expression and quickly walked to her car with her security team without stopping for photographers. Even though her outfit was simple, the mangalsutra became the main talking point online.

Soon after the clips spread on social media, fans filled the comment section with reactions. Some people congratulated her and assumed she was married, while others were curious to know who the ‘lucky guy’ was.

However, reports suggest that the look may actually be linked to her upcoming film. The video is believed to be from the sets of the sequel to ‘Queen’, tentatively titled ‘Queen Forever’. The movie is reportedly being directed by Vikas Bahl.

Later, Kangana Ranaut herself reacted to the marriage rumours through an Instagram story. She clarified that the viral look was actually from a film shoot and not from her real life. Kangana wrote that she is shooting in different parts of the city every day and someone clicked a random picture of her in character makeup. She also joked about getting many phone calls after the photo went viral. Clearing all rumours, the actor said that actors play different roles on screen and promised that she would never get married secretly.

On the work front, Kangana was last seen in Emergency, which was also her first film as a director. She will next appear in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata and is also preparing for her international debut with the horror film Blessed Be the Evil, which is expected to release in 2027.
