Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan injured in major road accident enroute to Delhi Airport

Singer Pawandeep Rajan, winner of singing reality show Indian Idol 12, was injured in a major car accident in Moradabad in the early hours of Monday while on his way to Delhi Airport. The incident reportedly occurred around 3.40 am, when Rajan was travelling by road to catch a flight to Ahmedabad, where he was scheduled to perform at a show.

Speaking to Gujarat Samachar Digital, Rajan’s manager confirmed that the singer had been visiting his hometown Champawat and was travelling towards Delhi when the accident took place. While the exact details of the mishap have not been disclosed, the manager stated that Rajan had sustained injuries but was in stable condition.

“He is currently undergoing treatment and will be shifted to a larger hospital for further care,” the manager added, without revealing the exact nature of his injuries.

A video circulating on social media showed the singer in a visibly critical state, being attended to by medical personnel. According to unconfirmed reports based on the footage, Rajan has suffered injuries to his left foot and right arm.
