Actor Sidharth Malhotra called this Mother's Day “a little more special” as he is getting ready to welcome his firstborn with wife Kiara Advani. 

Sid took to his Instagram account and penned a heartfelt note that read, “Love You Mom...It all begins with you, but this Mother’s Day feels a little more special. Because now it’s not just about the moms I look up to, but also the one I get to walk this new chapter with. To my mother, my mother-in-law, and the newest member of this club, Ki. Happy Mother's Day!”

First in post, Siddhath added an adorable black and white photo with his mom, after which he dropped a screenshot of his and his mother's video call with Kiara and his mom. Last, we see the mom-to-be posing with her two mothers.

Back in March, Kiara and Sidharth left everyone surprised as they announced that they are expecting their first child together.

Kiara marked this Mother’s Day with a deeply emotional tribute for her mother.  

In a heartfelt social media post, the actress shared her gratitude and love for the woman who has been her unwavering support. The mom-to-be shared an emotional tribute to her mother, calling her "her universe." On Sunday, Kiara took to her Instagram stories and shared a collage of photos featuring her special moments with her mother and simply wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to my whole universe. In her next follow-up post, the actress shared a photo from her wedding featuring her actor husband, Sidharth Malhotra, and his mother, Rimma Malhotra. The caption of the post read, “Happy Mother’s Day, mil,” followed by a red heart emoji.

The collage Kiara shared features four touching photos that beautifully capture the bond she shares with her mother. It includes a graceful solo portrait of her mom, a nostalgic throwback from Kiara’s childhood, a candid moment of the two posing together, and a heartwarming snapshot from her wedding day—where her mother is lovingly seen helping her put on jewelry. The collage reflects not just cherished memories but the deep-rooted connection and love between Kiara and her mother.

Shilpa Shetty

Actress Shilpa Shetty used social media to wish her mother, Sunanda Shetty, and mother-in-law, Usha Rani this Mother's Day. 

Wishing the two mothers in her life on the special day, Shilpa wrote on her Instagram account, "Bharat Mataon ki Jai! 🇮🇳 Happy Mother’s Day to mine and yours," along with a red heart and folding hands emojis.

First, she posted a perfect family pic with her mother, mother-in-law, son Viaan, and daughter Samisha.

After this was an image of Shilpa twinning with the two ladies in red ethnic attires. Next, we could see Shilpa's husband, Raj Kundra, posing for the camera with the two moms and their daughter Samisha.

The post also included adorable snaps of the 'Sukhee' actress with her two munchkins.

In another capture, the two ladies faced the camera with little Samisha.

Rajkumar Rao

Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, who will be next seen in the upcoming film ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’, is remembering his mother, and expressing the gratitude to different forms of mothers in his life on the occasion of Mother's Day. The actor took to his Instagram on Sunday, and shared pictures of his late mother, his wife Patralekha, goddess Durga and mother India.

He wrote in the caption, “Happy Mother’s Day Everyone. Maa is the closest you can ever be to God. Thank you for every hug, lesson, happiness and Smile”.

Rajkummar had earlier said that his mother passed away during the shoot of his critically acclaimed film ‘Newton’. The actor took a few days off from his shoot, and went to his home for the final rites of his mother.

Manish Paul

Actor Maniesh Paul is celebrating Mother's Day. On Sunday, he took to his Instagram, and shared several pictures with his mother.  

He also penned a note in the caption, as he wrote, “dressed me for all my school competitions and made sure I won! To the first person who gave me the confidence to be what I am today MY MOTHER! @paulurmil Happy Mother’s Day mummy! Kareena Kapoor

Earlier, in the day, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan also celebrated Mother's Day. The actress took to the Stories section of her Instagram, and re-shared a note about mothers from an Instagram account.

In the note, the actress talked about the strength of a mother and her endurance. The note read, “Don't underestimate a mother. She's survived pain that would make others crumble. She's endured sleep deprivation that breaks the mind. She'd held her baby while holding herself together. No applause. No break. Just relentless love. That's strength”.

Rupali Ganguly

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Sanjay Dutt took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, remembering his late mother and legendary actress Nargis Dutt.

For the unversed, Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis Dutt, died on May 3, 1981. Nargis passed away after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer, just five days before her son, Sanjay Dutt, was set to make his big Bollywood debut in a lead role in “Rocky.” For the actor, this moment marked not only a significant milestone in his career but also a deeply personal loss.
