The state highways witness a surge in traffic during the festive seasons. Private and public vehicles are often prone to accidents on highways and expressways.
This morning, five individuals lost their lives in an accident that occurred on a highway near Gandhinagar in the Randheja-Pathapur area. An injured person was rushed to the civil hospital.
Five deceased identified
As per reports, the deceased involved Mohammed Alfaaz, Salman Chauhan, Sahil Chauhan, Mohammed Belim, and Ashfaq Chauhan, while the injured was Shahnawab Chauhan.
The accident occurred when the car driver reportedly lost control of the steering wheel. The car rammed into a tree after the driver lost control, which resulted in the deaths of five people on the spot.
The deceased had gone for a movie in Pethapur and met with an unfortunate accident while returning to Mansa.
