“Family Man 3" actor Rohit Basfor found dead near Guwahati waterfall

Rohit Basfor, an actor slated to feature in the highly anticipated third installment of Manoj Bajpayee's popular web series "Family Man," was found dead near the Garbhanga waterfall in Guwahati on Sunday, April 27, as per reports. 

Police have indicated that the actor's death appears to be the result of drowning, though they are awaiting the official post-mortem report for confirmation.

According to preliminary reports, Basfor was on a picnic outing with nine of his colleagues when the tragic incident occurred at approximately 2.00 pm. It is believed that he reportedly fell into the waterfall under circumstances that are currently being investigated by the authorities.

Just weeks before this unfortunate event, Basfor had shared his positive experiences working on the set of “Family Man 3” with his followers. In a social media post accompanying a picture from the set, he wrote about the great experience and his continuous enthusiasm for learning new things within the industry.

While the initial police statement points towards drowning as the cause of death, the post-mortem examination is expected to provide a more definitive understanding of the circumstances surrounding Basfore’s untimely demise.
