Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar’ is all set to release on December 5. The film’s trailer and songs have already created a huge buzz on social media.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared Dhurandhar with an adults-only certificate, as shown on the board’s official website. The film’s final runtime stands at 214.1 minutes — a total of 3 hours, 34 minutes and 1 second — making it the longest Bollywood film released since ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ in 2008. It also marks Ranveer Singh’s first film to receive an A rating.

The synopsis listed on the CBFC site explains that the story unfolds after the IC-814 hijacking in 1999 and the 2001 Parliament attack. India’s Intelligence Bureau chief Ajay Sanyal launches a high-risk mission to dismantle a terror network in Pakistan by penetrating Karachi’s underworld. At the same time, a 20-year-old prisoner from Punjab, held for a revenge-driven crime, becomes central to Sanyal’s plan.

As per Bollywood Hungama, the CBFC instructed the filmmakers to include a Hindi voiceover for the mandatory disclaimer, which was added to the runtime. Additional anti-drug and anti-smoking warnings were also inserted into select scenes.
