Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ is unstoppable at the box office. Even on the 25th day of its release, the film has maintained its hold. The film starring Ranveer Singh set a record as the first Indian film franchise to reach ₹3,000 crore worldwide.

Reports say that only a few two- or three-part film series in India have ever grossed this much combined.

The Baahubali franchise (Baahubali: The Beginning + Baahubali 2: The Conclusion) earnings are estimated to be around ₹2,400 crore, whereas the KGF franchise (K.G.F: Chapter 1 + K.G.F: Chapter 2) earnings are estimated to be around ₹1,500 crore.

'Dhurandhar 2' has crossed the ₹1,712.98 crore mark worldwide. It has now become the fourth-highest-grossing film in India. The way the earnings have surged on Sunday, it seems that it will soon break the global record of 'Pushpa 2' of ₹1,742 crore.

Despite being banned in the Gulf countries, this film has achieved the milestone.
