The much-anticipated sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge finally hit theatres on March 19, and the response has been nothing short of phenomenal. Even before its official release, the film had generated massive buzz, with strong audience turnout during paid preview shows.

According to early box office estimates by Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 collected an impressive ₹43 crore from preview screenings alone. On its first official day, the film recorded a massive ₹102.55 crore, taking its total earnings to ₹145.55 crore within just 24 hours of release.

The sequel has clearly outperformed the original film in terms of opening numbers. The first installment, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, had earned around ₹28 crore on its opening day. In contrast, the second part surpassed that figure even before release through preview collections, which stood at nearly ₹48 crore.

Another factor contributing to the film’s strong performance is its wider reach. While the first part was released only in Hindi, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been dubbed in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, expanding its audience base significantly.

With such a powerful start, the sequel has not only matched expectations but exceeded them, setting a new benchmark for the franchise.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge follows the return of a fearless and sharp-witted protagonist who is pulled back into a dangerous world of crime and conspiracy. As past enemies resurface and new threats emerge, he embarks on a mission driven by revenge, uncovering hidden truths and battling powerful forces to settle old scores once and for all.
