Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson has appeared to confirm her relationship with singer Role Model after the pair were spotted enjoying a cosy dinner date in Los Angeles, according to a report.

On Thursday evening, the two were photographed by the entertainment news outlet TMZ while dining at a popular restaurant in the city. They were there with a friend and seemed to be deeply engaged in conversation. As they left the venue, they were seen smiling at each other, which added to the speculation about their relationship.

For the outing, Johnson, 36, opted for a black lace tank top paired with black trousers, accessorised with a cheetah-print handbag and a black trench coat. Role Model, 28 — whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury — wore a dark grey waffle-knit jumper, black jeans and a black scarf.

Representatives for both Johnson and Role Model were not immediately available for comment.

The pair first sparked dating rumours in December 2025, when they were photographed sharing a candlelit dinner with friends. Since then, neither has publicly addressed the nature of their relationship.

Johnson’s apparent new romance comes around six months after she reportedly ended her engagement to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The actress and the 48-year-old musician were together for approximately eight years before calling time on their relationship in June 2025.

Although neither Johnson nor Martin has publicly spoken about the split, a source previously told US media that differences over age and the prospect of having children played a role in their separation.

“Dakota had been desperate for her and Chris to work out for years, and every time they broke up she was devastated,” reports citing sources said. “They really tried to work through their issues, but the age gap was often a problem. She also expressed that she might want children in the future, whereas Chris is done with that stage of his life.”
