Punjabi singer and rapper Karan Aujla, best known for the 2024 chart-topping track 'Tauba Tauba' from the film 'Bad Newz', has found himself at the center of controversy after a Canadian rapper and actress, Ms Gori, accused him of having an extramarital affair while allegedly hiding the fact that he was married to Palak Aujla.

She further alleged that after she questioned him about the relationship, attempts were made to silence her and damage her reputation publicly. According to her claims, Aujla’s team sought to suppress her voice and spread misinformation against her.

In a series of social media posts, the artist alleged that members of Aujla’s team contacted an Indian social media influencer and circulated false information in an attempt to discredit her. The controversy escalated after screenshots of her statements went viral online, drawing widespread attention.

The artist has also claimed that law enforcement agencies in Canada and the United States are investigating the matter. She alleged that false criminal allegations and rumours were spread about her in Western countries as part of a broader effort to defame her. However, the claims have not been independently verified.

On Monday, January 12, the artist shared a lengthy post on Instagram, writing, “ When you speak the truth, people who benefit from silence will get uncomfortable…. Too many women have been manipulated, shamed, and publicly rewritten so others could avoid accountability. I won’t participate in that pattern anymore.”

As of now, Karan Aujla and his representatives have not issued any official statement responding to the allegations. The controversy has divided opinion on social media, with some fans dismissing the claims as an attempt to defame the singer, while others have voiced support for the artist and called for a fair investigation.
