Global K-pop superstars BTS have officially announced their long-awaited comeback world tour, marking their first full group tour in nearly four years.

Considered the biggest tour of their career, the tour will feature 79 concerts across 34 cities spanning Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia, running from April 2026 to March 2027

The tour will kick off on April 9, 2026, in Goyang, South Korea, with multiple shows in their home country, before moving to Tokyo, Japan, and then across the globe. The grand finale is scheduled for March 2027 in Manila, Philippines.

Despite growing anticipation among Indian fans, India is not included in the currently announced tour schedule. The news comes as a disappointment to the Indian ARMY, especially after BTS member V sparked excitement during a Weverse interaction last month by saying, “Namaste Indian ARMY. See you next year.”

Adding to fans’ hopes, BTS had previously revealed that a Mumbai concert was planned for their 2021 tour, which was ultimately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

HYBE’s expanding presence in India and Jung Kook’s GOLDEN: The Moments exhibition held in Mumbai further fueled expectations of an India leg in 2026.

This world tour is already being described as the largest ever by a Korean act, both in terms of scale and number of performances. After touring North America and Europe, BTS will return to Busan to celebrate their 13th anniversary (FESTA) before heading to Latin America and then launching an extensive Asian leg, with stops in cities such as Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Jakarta.

Alongside the tour announcement, BTS also confirmed the release of a new studio album titled The Fifth Album, their first in three years and nine months.

In a statement shared on Weverse, BIGHIT Music reportedly stated that the album holds special meaning for both the group and their fans. Featuring 14 tracks, the album reflects the emotions, struggles, and growth the members have experienced during their journey. All seven members were deeply involved in the songwriting and production process.
