Big relief for Karishma Kapoor’s children after court orders to freeze accounts of Sunjay Kapur

The Delhi High Court ordered that the businessman Sunjay Kapur’s account be freezed to ensure that nothing is sold, transferred or altered until the court reaches a verdict. This would be a big relief for Karishma’ Children Kiaan and Samira who alleged their father’s third wife Priya Sachdeva Kapur presented a forged will.
The court has reportedly ordered that Sunjay’s all assets including foreign bank accounts and crypto currency holdings estimated to be worth around ₹30,000 crore, to be freezed and preserved for now, ensuring that nothing is sold, transferred or altered until the case is fully decided.
In October, 2025, Karishma Kapoor’s children Kiaan and Samaira had approached the court in seeking protection on assets by alleging Sunjay’s third wife Priya Sachdeva over the ‘will’ she presented was incomplete as she submitted an incomplete list of assets, and high value items like polo horses and luxury watches. However, Priya reportedly refused all the allegations by commenting that everything she disclosed is valid.
The court reportedly agreed that suspicious circumstances around the will and said responsibility lied with Priya to clear those doubts.
