Abhishek Bachchan ventures into real estate with premium mixed-use project in GIFT City

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has made his entry into the real estate sector with plans for a high-end mixed-use development in Gujarat’s GIFT City. The project will be developed in collaboration with Mumbai-based real estate firm Sri Lotus Developers & Realty Limited.

The partnership was formalised through a joint development agreement announced on January 7. The proposed development will include luxury residential units, commercial spaces, and retail outlets, spanning a total built-up area exceeding one million square feet.

According to reports, the land parcel earmarked for the project was acquired by Bachchan nearly 15 years ago and is now being utilised for this flagship development.

While the total investment value has not been disclosed, the developer highlighted that the project follows an asset-light strategy, aimed at improving capital efficiency while scaling operations within GIFT City’s fast-evolving real estate landscape.

The upcoming development is expected to attract senior professionals, global investors, and high networth individuals.
