Actor politician Khushbu Sundar has condemned the circulation of an AI-morphed video featuring Janhvi Kapoor, calling the misuse of technology to digitally alter a woman’s image “cruel, abusive and deeply shameful”.

The video uses Janhvi’s appearance from the Devara song Chuttamalle and has triggered concerns over the unauthorised manipulation of images using AI.

Khushbu, speaking on X, said she would not remain silent when another woman is “digitally violated, degraded and humiliated”. She said such content should not be treated as entertainment or normalised.

‘Her Dignity Is Not Entertainment’

Condemning both the creation and circulation of morphed videos, Khushbu said women should not have to fear technology being used to invade their dignity, reputation and sense of safety.

She also stressed that people should not remain silent because they are not the victim themselves. “Today, it is her. Tomorrow, it could be me, you, our daughter, our sister, our mother, or any woman we love,” she wrote.

Khushbu called for those who create, knowingly share, promote or deliberately amplify such content to face legal consequences.

“A woman’s body is not content. Her dignity is not entertainment. Her humiliation is not a joke. And an AI must never become a weapon against women,” she said.

She ended her post by expressing solidarity with Janhvi, writing, “As women, we must stand together and say: ENOUGH. I stand with you #JanhviKapoor. Stay strong bachcha.”

Jr NTR Had Also Warned Against AI Misuse

Khushbu’s comments came a day after Jr NTR spoke out against the misuse of AI to create fake videos.

On Saturday, the actor warned that legal action could be taken against people creating such content as well as those involved in circulating it.

Vijay Deverakonda and Chiranjeevi have also condemned the misuse of an AI and the circulation of digitally altered videos.
