With $118 billion net worth, Reliance Industries among top 25 global giants of the world
India’s Reliance Industries has become the 21st largest company globally with a net worth of $118 billion (~₹10 lakh crore). Saudi Aramco has topped the global list with a net worth of $440 billion (~₹37.38 lakh crore). Google’s Alphabet is second with $345 billion (~₹29.31 lakh crore), and Microsoft is third with $303 billion (~₹25.74 lakh crore) of net worth.
According to reports, eight companies from the energy sector have been included in the list of global corporate giants, indicating growth in the industry.
Notably, companies from the financial sector have been excluded from this list. The firms were ranked among global corporate giants based on their net worth.
Moreover, five companies from communication services and four companies from consumer discretionary sectors have made it to the list.
Reliance is the country’s top company with a market cap of ₹18 lakh crore. Reliance shares rose 5% to 1365.50 today on the back of strong quarterly results, dividend-bond announcements. At 3.15 pm, it was trading at 1370.30 at 5.70% up.
The firm’s market cap increased by ₹89,000 crore. The company’s net profit has increased by 3% (₹81,309 crore) in the financial year 2024-25. Net income has increased by 7.1% to ₹9.6 lakh crore and EBITDA has been recorded with a 2% increase to ₹1.7 lakh crore.
